During this single-session class, we will create wired organza wings painted in two softly blended shades before assembling them around a wonderfully tactile dragonfly body worked using puffy couching techniques for added texture and sculptural form.
Like the other projects in this Summer Garden series, this class is designed as a creative “stash-buster.” No kit is required; instead, students will receive full instructions together with a suggested materials list, encouraging you to experiment with your own fabrics, threads, paints, and embellishments to create a dragonfly entirely unique to you.
